Tailoring and Mending Services

While I’ve tried to list all of the more common mending requests, it’s always possible that I have missed something. If there is a task or custom project that you’d like done, don’t hesitate to reach out to me with the details

Basic Hemming

Is your clothing too long? No worries—I can fix that with ease! Additionally, if you have a garment that’s too short, I can lengthen it using lace or another complementary fabric for a stylish touch.

Double Knee

It can be hard to loose a good set of work jeans, so why don’t you let me fix them instead? I can add a large patch over the knees and add years of service to your clothes.

Fixing a Hole

If you have a favorite garment, why get rid of it?
I can patch it from the inside to keep it looking almost new, or if you want some flare I can do a more decorative fix.

Fixing a Zipper

I can fix an existing zipper quickly for $5.
If you want to replace a zipper entirely, it’s a more complex task that will cost you $20.

Tightening a Waistline

If your pants (or skirt) are just a bit too loose, I can adjust the waistline so that they fit better. Please note that I can’t take in more than roughly 2 inches total without affecting the overall fit of the garment.

Re-lining a Jacket

Have a favorite jacket, but the lining is torn or worn? I can make you a new one using your choice of fabric. It can be anything from a simple polyester to a fun cotton print.

Reattaching or Replacing Buttons

If you still have the original button, I will reattach it for you, if you don’t, I can either look through my collection for a match or replace all of the buttons.

Replacing Elastic

Elastic can wear out easily and can be very frustrating when the rest of the garment is still wearable.

Custom Quilting, $125 and up

I am willing to do custom quilting for personalized gifts. You would choose the pattern and fabrics, and I would use my sewing skill and knowledge to bring it to life. Or you could choose a color scheme or theme and let me surprise you, the choice is yours! Price is determined from the size and complexity of the quilt. Smaller crib quilts with a simple design are less expensive than a King-size with a complicated pattern. Use the ‘Contact Me’ page to request a quote.
